Resilience is the quiet strength that sustains us when confidence falters. It’s adaptability, not appearance, that secures our future. A Divine Man needs a woman with spiritual vision and a Divine Woman needs a man on a spiritual quest. A higher type of love with a Divine Purpose.

Resilience vs Confidence by Vex King

"Over the years, I've had the honour of connecting with an incredible diversity of people-from neighbours and parents to psychologists, therapists, celebrities, thought leaders, yogis...you name it. Through these connections and conversations, I've observed something critical that we're rapidly losing in our society: resilience. While confidence has its place in helping us take action, resilience enables us to survive and thrive in a world where change is the only constant. We've spent years glorifying confidence, particularly on social media, but we've lost sight of resilience-our capacity to bounce back from setbacks and adapt to challenges. Think of resilience as your psychological immune system, keeping you functional even when things go wrong. There's a crucial distinction here: confidence says, "I can do this," while resilience says, "I can handle whatever happens." Both matter, but if I had to bet on which quality will be more vital in the years ahead, I'd choose resilience without hesitation.

What concerns me is the prevalence of false confidence on social media-carefully curated images that often mask real struggles. This performative confidence rarely survives systemic shocks and global challenges. We're creating facades of capability while potentially suppressing emotions, avoiding acknowledging privilege, and using these presentations as tools to validate our existence. As co-creators, we have the power to shape reality, but believing we can control every aspect of it misunderstands the many universal laws at play. This is precisely why resilience is crucial-it acknowledges both our creative power and the complex interplay of forces beyond our control. We need the strength to navigate this balance between intention and surrender. As we navigate the unprecedented changes ahead, it's time to shift our focus from projecting unshakeable confidence to building genuine resilience. Our future depends not on appearing unbeatable, but on our ability to adapt, recover, and grow stronger through challenges."

"Things No One Taught Us About Love"

by Vex King 25 April 2024.

Things No One Taught Us About Love distils the ideas found in Vex King's Closer to Love, re-edited and presented in the warm, relatable style of his No. 1 bestseller Good Vibes, Good Life.

This extraordinary book is for anyone looking to harness the power of the universe, and their own self-understanding, to manifest stronger, deeper relationships.

Bestselling author of Good Vibes, Good Life, Vex King is back with a life-changing guide to strengthening your relationships by learning to love yourself, and understanding the true nature of love.

Many of us expect romantic love to solve our problems and validate our worth. This burden strains modern relationships. Partners become frustrated when unable to meet each other's idealized and impossible demands. Broken dreams of a life-long romance can leave people feeling incomplete and hopping from one partner to another.

It's no wonder we struggle, given that society fails to teach us about the true nature of love. We've been misled into thinking love is external - somewhere out there - rather than a force within us.

Vex King dismantles the myths and misconceptions surrounding love and relationships. Packed with personal stories, expert advice and inspirational messages, Things No-one Taught Us About Love will help you understand how you love, create healthy habits, set boundaries that work for you, and heal unprocessed emotion and trauma.

'A long-term relationship will die and be reborn a thousand times. It doesn't matter how long you are with someone, but how willing you are to stay open to the new versions of them (and yourself) that are certain to arise.' Vex King

Extend grace to those who misunderstand, invalidate, and limit other's to their own myopic lens. Forgiving those who take anyone's existence for granted is yet another simple life lesson. Integrating and returning to wholeness by remaining heart centered, continues to be my priority in order to align with what’s truly meant for me. Simply let any thing mis aligned or limiting be. Misalignment is not wrong or evil or bad, merely limiting. Limited people, possibly still insecure or lacking resilience or possibly still lost in living a half life and seeking validation externally are still included in one benign universe. It is all OK, simply let them be. Forgive those who are still attached to external labels and trapped in familiar or limiting conditional expectations. Listen and observe but do not absorb any smaller, limiting stories or energy that feels misaligned or myopically shallow. People are going to judge you no matter what and it's not worth your energy to try to stop it. Your job is not to change the perceptions of others. Live your truth, take risks, act with compassion, do what is good for your mind and body, and don't worry about what others think.
