Play, Don’t Think…

40% of earths labour force (or 300million current careers, professions or jobs) will be different than today in only 10 years. 

This is a huge opportunity for agile nations, leaders and learners. Like UAE. Like Singapore. Like emerging once de banked people now learning and playing in a rapidly opening and levelling “equal” opportunity digital economy. It may not effect crustier oldies set in their dormant concrete ways, or jobs, but reality is creating whole new demand in jobs that have not even been imagined yet. This is the beauty of geo political globalisation (or 4th industrial “revolution” or wave) that is just swelling up a few short fathoms from shore. This very real intelligence (human learning) tsunami is brewing but there is so much early warning humans are aware of that the mother of all waves is not to be feared, simply prepared for.  And then ridden masterfully. If will be the biggest greenest human nature wave for those who can swim without floaties. Or other attached, artificial, non HUMAN learning external props. LIKE currently closed data silos or top down cloistered curriculums at any level. 

Humans taking full intrinsic responsibility for their own “Learning how to Learn” is bare minimum. Lots of “adult learning institutions” have been banging on about theories of life long learning for decades, but guess what oldies? That responsible learning reality is here now.   No more excuses. No where left to run or hide from your own agility to actually demonstrate your ability to learn. Or like many at the moment, move into minimum wage, minimum skill jobs that owners, corporations, governments and institutions will gladly keep you chained to. Why would they want it any different? The mills and mines of pre industrial Europe return with a slightly updated take. Minimum wage Labour in confined controlled productivity spaces working hard, stressing harder, all the while mill owners, mining shareholders and the mega rich tech billionaires getting fatter on your expendable AMAZON sweat shop labour. And anything artificially cheaper, faster or more productive(Like machines, like robots, like agenitic  algorithms) will quickly show unlearning humans the door. This is not some far off dystopia or fantasy and has already been occurring in many global industries. 

Traditional blue collar jobs have been affected for decades.  Manufacturing, clothing mills, mining, ship building, automobiles have all been mechanised.  

Digital music, AMAZON, warehouse distributions, on line e shops and portals were next. Self drive, trucks and taxis,  space rockets, robotic home help from pool cleaners to vacuum cleaners to smart houses smart watches smart phones, smart artists… no no no that’s just me being a smart ass… that’ll never happen? Books and poetry and deep fake love letters? It’ll never fly said pianola owners… 

Now digital streaming video, movies, TV, music, podcasts, radio,  social media content influencers,(largely often padded out white noise or space junk taken as “real”, especially on the kiddies apps, all social silos ewe no…) 

Now how about RWA real estate, local council planning, radiology and pathology, torts and ANY paper or digital contracts that once need “professional” university fees to tick them off as binding and legal. Now whole countries have founded reenergised economies on decentralised technology, often because they had or have limited other choices. They were debanked or decimated by the 2008 GFC or drug/mafia/triad cartels and “corporations” which essentially controlled whole economies by force or threats or sheer poverty and lack of effective political integrity, will or leadership. These economies are re inventing themselves rapidly and the power house traditional geo political trading of defence blocs are no more.  The whole world power balance is rapidly changing, not just because of AI or tariffs or mad DOGE MAGA monks in white houses… THROWING homeland economic barbs (and worse) around like confetti. One thing this is doing is fundamentally up setting (or literally killing and destroying lives) with no certainty or security or traditional allegiances or alliances left intact. Is that good? Or bad? No answer really but it is reality… elections, democracy, capitalism does that, care full what you vote for… the agora is revolting  yes it is, so let them eat cake or off with their heads. Or just make the divide even greater, the Gina’s & Clive’s gets fatter and uglier, the common person mostly has got NFI attached to their Man Ute or keno pokie drunken MANICURE. All ok, nothing has changed since Adam dropped his fig leaf and Eve went “asp” “apple” “wow”!  Or knot… the point is, change is the only constant and this shift is happening higher, faster, stronger than at any other stage in his story. AI Olympus @olympics are upon us. Bring on the gold silver bronze AI and let others lose.

Absolutely nuthin’

So essentially professional white collar jobs where AI or robots can easily handle increasingly more complex tasks will be coming to an unemployment line to you soon. Whether you agree or not. Whether you are aware or not. Whether you care or not. 

These changes are all coming on strong, now. By owners decree. By profit motives. Buy capitalism, socialism, communism, fascism, OR any other ISM EWE may wish to laboriously blame. 

This is the renaissance enlightenment and crusades all wrapped in one skin.

Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. His story really DOES repeat. 

AI is the machine we humans have been building for a century. It is only in the next visionary “century” timeline that we can zoom out and get a grip on a far broader human global geo political perspective WITH attention to detail. Your own learning. That is the devil in the detail. So buckle up buttercups and get warm and fuzzy intrinsically. 

A agile Learning life is now the new bare minimum default. 

No sandstone archaic institutional certification will prepare you for yesterday… that’s long gone. 

And you know what? 

Humans are awesome, humans are resilient, humans are hard wired to commune and support and provide and create. 

So why don’t we collectively choose those awesome humans as our leaders? 

Well well well, no shit Sherlock! That’s why god invented democracy sausage. 

And buy god, she’s done a fine learning job on the tastiest mystery bags at Bunnings this time.
